Naruto: Ninja Densetsu is a Third Person Shooter with RPGs element based upon the popular Naruto manga and anime created by Masashi Kishimoto. You will be able to customize your character, use jutsu's, walk on walls, more or less everything you know from the anime. Besides that, the game will look graphically as UT3, only with an anime type of feel.
Ofcourse, we can't do all this work by our own! So, if you think you can animate, model, code, map, create sounds and music or anything else and you are willing to help us, then please post an application thread on our forum here (be sure to register first)!
Also feel free to track our development here on ModDB! When we post an update you will be the first to here about it.

A preview of Naruto: Ninja-Densetsu's cel-shading system implemented by Alex on the Unreal 3 engine.
The above is a Work In Progress and does not constitute the final quality of the effect. The effect is in fact less complex than Unreal 3's default character shaders so performance could be positively affected.

What would be neat is to make a naruto game that is NOT Cell-shaded. Have some realism graphics to it. You'd be surprised what it would look like in-game with graphics as good as UT3... imagine... a naruto game with UT3 graphics... wow, one can dream it or mod it at least? Right?
damn i hate to see mods that might have potential go down the toilet.

Ahm, ninja is the same as shinobi. Different word, same meaning. In the same language. Ninja wasn't english at all, it just people took it and saying it the same way.
Hey, guys-glad to see we're reviving the community again and it's great to hear about some progress on the new engine. Hope the forums get back up or that we find some other common ground again, but until then I guess we'll be keeping in touch here :)
