Welcome to Mundus Igne et Gladio, the World of Fire and Sword. This is a fan-made submod of the 16th Century Mod. While this mod seeks to improve quality of the translation, balance to in-game items, and expand upon factions within the game, credit should be given to the original Century War Team (consisting of Mskimizd, Ellis, and Yifeng), Khorps who created an improved translation for settlement and troop names, Mariusz Kozil whose art (with mosaic modification) you can see on the loading screen, the team behind the Battle of Grunwald mod, and creators of packs and mods from which 16th Century Mod borrows its assets. I hope you'll enjoy this sub-mod as much as I enjoyed the 16th Century Mod, and if in turn you too will find a way to improve upon it, I would love to see your vision.
The Polish-Lithuanian Troop Tree has been updated to portray better what the infantry and cavalry of the time were equipped with, also the Husaria unit has been reequipped to use more time period appropriate weapons and armor of Polish hussars throughout 16th century, although the Winged Hussars of the 17th century have been retained in the troop tree as the Polish tier 5 unit, simply because I think they're really cool and I love the way their assets look.
