Mount and Musket Battalion is a multi-player total conversion that tries to accurately represent the time period around the end of the Napoleonic Wars (1812-1815). It has historical factions with accurate units and equipment, including different types of infantry, cavalry and even usable artillery.

It is awesome because the people are amazing (especially the moderators and the designers) and it is sooo fun
If you play the mod for 30 minutes, it's quite clear that MM is one of the best mods for Warband. It isn't finished completely yet, but it is still a highly polished experience. No, the gameplay isn't for everyone--some people don't have the patience for musket loading--but for people who like the era and like the tactics, it's a great deal of fun.
As for the people bashing this mod, I doubt they've given MM much of a chance. As for the 'paint textures', I don't experience those even without HDR, but I've heard people say the game looks better in HDR.
Bottomline: Try this mod for yourself!
The best mod for warband!
I've been following and playing this mod since its first release. All I can say is that it’s simply amazing but to truly enjoy the mod one needs to join a regiment and participate in events such as formation battles and line battles. Just download the mod and see for yourself.
Simply the best mod for Warband. Even better than the original game.
All in all it is an amazing mod.
It has so many cool things up to know that make it great and so many new things that are going to be added that will make it even better.
And with new versions coming out week to week lately.
