The sound quality is high and I really think that it's a great idea to have the guitar version being played by an NPC ingame. That gives the piece a respectful existence and creates a theme for M.I.N.E. Well thought

Nothing to say but thumbs up. If you combine this with a unique background, like my hud-less screenshot idea, you'd set a very unique presentation for your mod that would make it stand out.

Also, I concur on adding the ability to play the guitar only version to all NPC factions.

Good comments, guys! I was VERY afraid no-one would like it but me - but it appears we are all in agreement.

This further solidifies my belief that it would make an excellent menu theme / backdrop for STALKERs to play at the campfires.

I am still thinking Loner will do our background for the menu (I promised he could do it, LOL)... but the HUD is something different altogether.

I have seen several I like, so it is just going to come down to what we as a team are capable of, and what we can and can't do. The one already in place might be the one we use, but nothing is in concrete until release.

Thanks again for the encouragement!

Hmmm... Music is wonderful... What about making a menu theme Guitar only? In my opinion, electronic elements are good for another type of art... But this is sad survival horror...
And what about our idea to make a menu theme of one film's music? I loved that idea so much...

Doesn't feel very stalkery. Go wtih one of the original guitar songs you hear. Or some song like this only more ominous.

You know kenny, I understand what your saying and it holds merit, but I see modders as artists in their own right. I also believe it's high time we all shed the stubborn fear of change and started stepping a bit off the hard beaten " Stalkery " path and begin incorporating more individually unique and personal new levels of life into " the living, breathing Zone " to reflect our artistic inspirations and visions, don't you ?

I stumbled on this one day while combing the internet for alternative music to use in the mod.

I discovered this piece by "Pitx", entitled "Black Rainbow". It was love at first byte. It meshes perfectly with the game, and I think it's a beautiful alternative to the usual title music we're used to hearing in STALKER.

It's a painful, almost haunting piece, which to me compliments the Zone's terrible creatures, caustic environments, and hopeless struggles that the STALKER faces every day.

If you imagine it being played at a campfire (I have a guitar-only variant for that purpose), it really will surprise you how well it fits.

As always, your feedback is both welcomed and appreciated.

I do hope you enjoy it.
