They don't call him Grisha Pipe for nothin' - check out the Benelli M4 he's sportin'!
This was taken while testing our new modified code which randomly doles out weapons to NPC's - ensuring that some of our new guns make it into the hands of NPCs so that you can find a select range of them in the field.
OMFG.
Now there is no need in leaving cover to shoot in enemy - you can just hit him on the head with this baseball bat - BAM!
A bit unclear but me like random weapons :P
Oversized much?
It's a big gun. Pulled from the Wikipedia article on it:
Length 886 mm (34.9 in)
Barrel length 470 mm (18.5 in)
This means at 34.9 inches, it's nearly 3 feet long total; that's half of a 6 foot human's height, so I think it fits rather well.
That, and as Ash from Evil Dead would have said...
"This... is my BOOM STICK!".
Now you, too, can own one of these babies.
And moreover, by the time you get to Yantar, you'll want a good shotgun. Mutants have been rebalanced to require some decent firepower to knock out, especially the bigger ones. Having a shotgun on hand will save you a lot of ammo better suited for better types of target.
I didn't get. You are going to leave it?! What the heeeeel??!! This looks... weird...
Youtube.com - it has normal size, ya know...
The third person model is a bit on the big side - its almost 4 foot ingame.
That or the stock is oversized, which is looks to be. I might try and shrink it down some, since the stock seems to be over a foot long.
The hud model is decent sized.
I humbly accept your offer to re-size the weapon, in light of the overwhelming response that no-one wants to carry a shotgun / clubbing device with them.
Thanks. :)
I thought about including this into PreSky. The response was the same. The third person model was too big.
The stock is definitely too big - its meant to be about a third of the weapons length. That one is about two fifths of the weapon. I'll see if I can dig out the M4 meshes on my computer - I know I have several, if I haven't deleted them like the FAMAS.
Besides, their is a crowbar mod for those who want to club something.
I always carry a shotgun as a secondary weapon ( as much or more than a pistol ) unless I'm in a " low mutie " area - then I'll stash it and pick it up after a mission. The main consideration being the added weight of course. I'd never really use a melee weapon enough to say so - no real call for one unless it's just your kinda fun.
Since playing CoP and realizing the "true" utility of a good shotgun, I always carry one with me now.
This is double-so in M.I.N.E. - they're not just pretty wall decorations anymore.
:)
