MidEast Crisis is a total conversion for the EA game Command and Conquer Generals : Zero Hour. It is a mod featuring Israel and Syria in a hypothetical modern war setting.

Description
Hanging out in MEC 2's shadow no more, the popular MEC 1.5 mod for Zero Hour gets a surprise update for the fans, completely changing the way its played and fixing notable bugs.
MidEast Crisis 1.5 was a big deal for Isotx and its fans. Many hours of our life were lost as we played the war torn maps, exploded into brilliant fires, and demolished our enemies. In many ways, we had been looking for an opportunity to go back to the mod that changed our history and brought us from nobodies to a gaming company. It just seemed, with all our other projects, we never had the time. Affluent modder Larry "bhones" Griffith, however, changed all of our time constraints by tackling on the project himself. Thus, I'm proud to present MidEast Crisis 1.9 - an homage to the fans and a great addition to the MidEast titles.

Hmm..... whenever I start a skirmish, no matter what army, map, number of players, or difficulty, it doesn't load the AI, and it gives me victory 7 seconds in...... might want to check that one out :/ if you need more specifics on it, then I can try it some more, but I don't see it working with what I've done.
yeah... removed the skirmish script like the one person, and it works great... should have thought of that XD

I don't know how to remove the Skirmish script !
Find the file "SkirmishScripts.scb" in the folder "<installed folder>\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\scripts", and move it completely out of that installed folder to somewhere like "My Documents". The mod will run.
That files is usually included in one of the EA files, and is really un-neccessary, but if you find that the AI is not working with regular Zero Hour, put that file back in the folder mentioned above, and it'll restore the Zero Hour AI.

Downloading to see if I get the error, as well.
Downloads and plays fine, on both Vista and XP, both standard and TFD.
Please make sure you have NO extra .big files ANYWHERE in the Zero Hour folders and subfolders. Even if you bury the .big file deep within the Zero Hour folders in a folder of your own making, it will find it and try to use it. Move all mod .big files not related to MEC 1.9 outside of the Zero Hour folders before playing this mod.

i found how you can play without the victory in the first few seconds
you must delete this file SkirmishScripts.scb in the folder ?:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour\Data\scripts backup befor delete
