The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.

I agree, that's what I thought about the textures as well. The model itself is pretty awesome though but the wood looks a bit...unnatural? I mean, look at the stairs in this picture Preview.turbosquid.com They aren't perfectly straight and that gives them a more natural feel to them.

Don't get me wrong, I think the model is awesome, I just think it could use just a little more polish(the same goes for the other houses)

Well if you look closely, you can see that the boards that make up the wall aren't straight at all. Indeed the roof could use a little more depth (although that could be solved by clever texturing ofcourse), but the model seems plenty organic to me.

You should also post a screenshot where these new buildings are alongside the buildings from Skyrim to see whether they clash. Either way it would be interesting to see them put near the ones in Skyrim.

Is the interior going to be exterior so that you can actually go in with your horse and 'park' it in the stable or is it going to be an actual interior?

@neronix17: I imagine an interior, but then we need to implement the ability to ride a horse into certain interiors (not something you can do in Skyrim right now).

The problem with getting the inside to match what we saw in the movies is that you find out that the set that was used can never fit in the inside of this building without doing some major changes. A little thing the movie makers hoped we wouldn't notice :D
