The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.
A set of Rohan weapons created by BGS.
Hmmm! I'd love to see those weapons in my arsenal :)
I'd stick those in my arsenal any day
HA.

i personally prefer weapons of elvish origins, but the fact that different regions will have different weapons is AWESOME and these are very good Rohan weapons!
are you actually are going to be able to use those spears? :D great pics btw
Yea'd like to know dat too.
@CTJSB: You haven't heard? MERP is planned to have new skills, Polearms (spears/staves/halberds/etc) being one of them ;)
Any two-handed swords from Rohan?
@Klevdude: None planned at the moment. I imagine two-handers will be a bit more rare in MERP then in Skurim. (partly due to the dark-ages medieval feel in LOTR).
Yeah, true but would it be able to do so that when not wielding a shield you use both hands to swing with. Like they do in the movie. It would be logic aswell.
@Klevdude: I'm hoping we can set a feature in MERP to allow you to wield weapons one or two-handed (although depending on your character's strength and the size of the weapon in question).
Two-Handed swords barely existed in ME.
Aye, though Narsil was wielded as a two-hander by Aragorn.
Aren't those kind of swords called "bastard's swords"?
It would be shorter than regular 2 handed, but the hilt is long enough for 2 hands to grip. So it could be used as a 2 handed as well one handed.
Uh, wasn't this already posted like 5 or so pages back?
Yes but i decided to include them in the first formal news for Skyrim ;)
Ha yeah, I noticed them in the article but wasn't sure if that reposted them or not. Either way, amazing job! Rohan is my favorite "country" in the LOTR world. Keep the awesomeness flowing guys!
wouldn't it be more like a "Kingdom" rather than a "country"?
Lol it's in quotations, gimme a break! :)
Cant wait to use spears!
