The 'Middle Earth Roleplaying Project' aims to recreate J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth in the Creation engine of 'Skyrim'. The player will be plunged into Middle Earth near the end of the Third Age, not long before the War of the Ring breaks out.

To dungens deep. and Caverns old...
The Pines were Roaring on The Heights,...
with sword and adventurer bold
The Winds were Moaning in the Night,
The fire was red, it flaming spread
The trees like torches blazed with light
Whenever I hear that song it sends chills down my spine
talking about songs, are they going to be in the game? Either traveling minstreel/bard form or as general background music as well? Like having the song of The Ent and the Ent-wife softly in the background while walking through Fangorn.
wait, is he falling down a pit or walking down a tunnel?
This looks a lot like Shelob's Lair.
The world is grey, the mountain's old;
The forges fire is ashen cold.
No harp is strung, no hammer falls,
The darkness dwells in Durin's halls.
There lies a shadow on the tomb
In Moria, in Khazad-Dum.
Yet still the sunken stars appear
In dark and windless Mirrormere.
There lies the crown in water deep
'Til Durin wakes again from sleep!
We delved to deep, beneath the keep;
awoke a beast from deep sleep.
coool ^^
Now THAT is an awesome screenshot. (: I bet he just can't WAIT to see what creature lives in there!
Fool of a programmer. throw yourself in next time and rid us of your logarithms.
Wow... It's a cave! :P (where in Middle-Earth is this? xD)
Huge spiderwebs, where could it be? xD
And yet the title is 'delving too deep', so I guess this would be a representation of the tunnels made by the nameless things that gnaw Arda. I think Shelob would be a cute little spider in comparison to what might dwell there (Nameless thing, Balrog, Gandalf in his wrath).
What do you mean with "Gandalf in his wrath"?
Gandalf following the balrog. I guess you had better not stand between him and the balrog when you're wandering through those tunnels...
Don't ever mess with Gandalf...
Shelob's lair... naaaah can't be. ;P
But it could be like anywhere, we can't be sure...
Something that annoys me in Vanilla Skyrim is the low res texture used on the wrist armor in first person view.
Can we have some decent looking textures for first person view? Are the textures used in the First-Person View the same as Third Person? I think not because your weapon stance changes between them.
The one in the screenshot doesn't look to bad, but I'd rather play the game and look up close to inspect it.
your work is unbelievable, i´m really looking forward to it since the original game is not interesting anymore (at least it isn't for me) that is why i can´t wait to explore the word of MERP !
