The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.
First seen in the Mass Effect film Paragon Lost, the Auckland Cruiser is the newest design to enter the Systems Alliance roster. Intended to replace the much older Hawking Light Carrier, the Auckland Cruiser will function as a fast response planetary assault ship.
A fast, armoured Auckland class response cruiser is the Systems Alliance attempt to solve doctrine problems highlighted most famously by the Skyllian Blitz.
The space gained from utilising modern miniaturised equipment and undersized broadside arrays in the wings left space for an entire Batallion of SA Marines as well as the hanger space to deploy 75% of the Batallion in a single drop with supporting Gunships.

Everyday this is getting better and better. I can't, honestly, wait for a release or at least a livestream where to showcase these reworked ships!
Question: what's the status for particles (engine trails, firing muzzle flash, lights, ship abilities and perks etc.)? Have you done some work yet? I'm just too curious :D
No work has been done on particle effects (weapons, engines, FTL etc) but there have been significant improvements to lighting, planets, and textures. Particles will be remastered too, but they are currently not the main priority. More information to come soon.
Looks great. Hopefully this as well as the Homeworld 2: Remastered Mod will see the light of day as completed products at some point in the future.
I wouldn't hold out hope mate, they only use ripped models.
Gosh. These will probably look better than the models they might use in the Remastered Mass Effect games.
