Some pretty nasty Thanix lasers, along with some pretty crazy defenses.
The Thanix isn't a laser, it's a particle accelerator cannon.
Actually, the Thanix cannon shoots molten metal.

I know its rough but you could have added the legs, it doesnt look right.

It looks good for a simple "rough draft". I'm sure, based on your previous work, when it's done it will look amazing. Though when next you take a picture would it be possible to get a shot of it beside the Destiny for a size comparison?
