The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

this is really good, everything looks amazing, however i have 3 questions, 1. will the alliance cruiser seen in ME3 be in, 2. Will harbinger be bigger, and 3. will the geth get any more ships (even though thanks to bioware every single ship is identical except for scale)

+1 vote     reply to comment
Reaper_Armada Apr 21 2012 replied:

The Alliance cruise is already replaced the old one. Scaling will be adjusted accordingly. And geth have a fighter/bomber and Dreadnaught that can still be made. Not sure what Set has in store but I have a couple of things to say. These are meant to be constructive critism comments. I know scaling can be done at the end but I may aswell say it now. The Geth ships need to be larger as they were about the same size as the alliance cruiser in ME1. The Reapers need to be larger or the Council ships need to be smaller. In my profile pic there are three unused Reaper designs that you could possibly use when you begin working on the Reaper faction again. The Turian cruiser seen in ME3 is not in tere and I was wondering if you were going to make it or nor. The fighters/bombers for the Reapers I assume will be the Oculus. The beam shooting ones could be the bombers and the other ones seen in the final battle could be fighters. Thanks for letting me ramble on and I'm sure everything will be adressed in time. Brilliant work and I look forward to the release.

V.Metalic Apr 21 2012 replied:

There is even one unused model of Reaper in ME2, with blunt "head".

ME3 Turian cruiser isnt identical to one in ME1? Hmm, must look on it.

So the large Turian dreadnought is probably Titan after all... dont you think its just too similar to normal Turian dreadnought? Wont it have some added features to make it more distinguished?

Reaper_Armada Apr 21 2012 replied:

Well the Turian Cruiser Set has now isn't the one seen over the battle of Palaven and I'm curious to see what he does with it. If he is going to include it or not. I hope he does cause I really liked that ship design. The Turian Dreadnaughts are very similar yes but size wize they could be distinguished. Anyway, yeah, the mod has a long way to go yet.

V.Metalic Apr 21 2012 replied:

Yeah, but I mean that I am not sure if ME1 and ME3 turian cruisers are different in design. But who knows :)

Yes, but other than size they are nearly the same. They would be little different.

As you said, its a long way for this mod, even its FTL speed. :)

Spart117MC Apr 21 2012 says:

Some questions and one statement.

The Questions:
1. Will the ME1 Alliance Cruiser make an appearance?
2. Will the Alliance shuttle model (The one mislabeled as a Kodiak Shuttle in ME2, and reappears in ME3) be used?
3. Will Lazarus station make an appearance in the mod? It seems fitting to be used as a model for Cerberus' civilian research station.
4. Will the Purgatory ship model be utilized?
5. Will X57 be used?
6. Will Avernus Station be used? Maybe as a research station?.
7. Will the Fuel Depot be used and how would it be used?
8. Will we see the Heretic Station?
9. Will Jon Grissom Academy become a research station?
10. Could Listening Post X-19 be used for anything?
11. Is Ahn'Kedar Orbital Platform being considered for use in the mod? Though of course there is only one image of it.
12. Will some of the Turian ships be redesigned to fit in with ME3 (essentially miniaturized dreadnoughts) or will they just be left as they are?
13. Will the Geth Gunship be used?
14. Will the Shadow Broker ship be used for something?
15. Will the transport ship (with the rings) as seen in the renegade ending of ME2 and in some comics be used?
16. I assume you will make the Collector base, right?
17. Will the rough Geth Cruiser model from ME be used? (Strangely it actually looks quite different from the other Geth ships, it looks more like the Asari ship in this photo)
18. Will the Geth Dreadnought be used?
19. Did you know that there are some good ME model references in the gallery of Troodon80 on DeviantArt?

The Statement:
I am sorry for this long list of possibly pointless things. I am in no way attempting to dictate how you do things and if I came off as arrogant I am apologize, I intended no disrespect. I merely wanted give my two cents, be of some help, and get a few answers on this total conversion of the game Sins of a Solar Empire.

For the fuel depot, I already asked Lord Set, and he said he will find a place for it. For Geth cruiser, I am not sure which one you mean. The ones seen in the Geth war assets in ME3, which look totally different than the rest of geth ships, or some other? And geth dreadnought is necessity :D

Spart117MC Apr 21 2012 replied:

Google Geth Cruiser Deviant Art and you will find an image of an unfinished model of a ship. It doesn't look like much but the design is pretty different compared to what the Geth have now(which is essentially the same ship for everything just different scales).

V.Metalic Apr 21 2012 replied:

Yes. I seen that one. ANd looking on the image of geth fleet war asset, I realized the things which I considered as geth cruisers were in fact geth fighters up-close, making them "bigger" :D

yes, there are five slots in cruiser, capital and frigate. For frigate and capital it is long range, support, siege, colony, and standard, cruisers are long range, siege, support, standard, and heavy. It is also possible to add more slots if needed

I dunno, the Reapers still seem alittle small. If you compare the Sovereign class Reaper ship and the Turian ship Sovereign crashed into at the battle of the Citadel it's rather off. Same goes with all the Alliance ships compared to Sovereign. I'm not complaining, just alittle crisism.

While I was going over the wiki I read that the Mantis Gunship (from ME2 and ME3) is capable of going into space and usually does so to protect space stations and planets. Just a thought. Has the Kodiak's use changed from starbase constructor?

Looks incredible, I am seriously stoked for this mod. I would like to throw in my two cents on scaling as well though (some people were discussing it earlier) I think over all scaling is good, but I agree that the reapers, especially sovereign and harbinger types, need to be noticeably bigger (in the games they really did dwarf pretty much all council ships) and the Destiny Ascension, while looking hawt, is much too large. It is of course supposed to be the biggest council dreadnought and as I recall the biggest ship built by any organic race, but in this image, look at it, it makes Sovereign look minuscule!

Did some shifting, to demonstrate roll and basic scaling. One or two more ships on the Council and several more for Cerberus and done with those two (Ship wise) and then on to the Reapers.
