The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

That looks awesome! Will it have a negative effect on ships as stated in the lore?
It just wouldn't be the seat of the Council without all the fluffy gas.
Isnt the nebula supposed to be more violet than fuchsia like here?

Captures it, then sometime later it starts randomly spawning reapers beginning the invasion.
Now that I think about it, could we get a mode where the Reapers have planets and spread out and attack players relentlessly like the Flood in Sins of the Prophets?
