The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

If you want to be precise, they had enough untextured models to jump this game into v0.6.
But just like in the game development world, not everything makes it past the cutting board.
(and personally, i support the devs cutting most of the old Cerberus ships because they would have looked better in sins of the prophets.)

Ah nostalgia... I really liked the old Cerberus designs. It made them stand out from alliance vessels but still showed a common root. Not to say the current models aren't great, just the old ones were cool.
