I agree that would be amazing, however sins doesn't support animations on ships themselves. Only particle effects can be animated and from what I hear they are tough to work with.

Its a support ship, not a battleship. Besides it doesn't look to terribly fragile to me. Every ship seen for Cerberus tends to be much wider than it is tall but the vast majority of us seem to think that they look rather tough to kill, and far more likely to make you dead first.... Unless your a Reaper

animated anything in sins is very hard to do and very taxing on the engine, thats why reapers are going to be fixed as well
