Nailed it. Those steel supports are already textured? Maybe throw a little rust into the crevices or bake an ambient map from a copy of the lowpoly (use as highpoly). With some AO in these crevices it'd look less computer-made.

But overall it really looks great. Even just the unique shape of the room is fascinating when we mostly just get generic corridors in games. I hope you make some walkthrough videos, as I don't own Mafia anymore and would still like to see what you did for myself.

The crutches are textured but turned out a bit too bright ingame. A quick change of texture will fix that.

Areas like these are more fun to make opposed to E.G. the grand staircase or any other well-known area since these have never been photographed before and due to the limited information that exists about it. So it's an interesting challenge to create these places accurately and figuring out how they would have looked. The boiler room is also quite tricky to create collissions for due to the tiny catwalks and tight spaces the player must fit through.

There will be some ingame footage once this whole area including the cargo holds is finished. ;)

It took some time but the lightmaps for the boiler room have been finally baked. Here is the result ingame. The scene is still not completed. There are still some smoke and fire effects to be added as well as some NPC's and other differend kinds of programming.
