I want idividual suitcases for all 1307 passengers, or this game is a complete disaster!

Just kidding. Looks awesome. Bit much haze, eh, but nice :)

Yeah, the air conditioning went kaput. :P The fog effect has already been finetuned ingame luckily.

Having the area be dimly lit could hide most of the duplicates.

That's actually a pretty good idea. In this hold there are less lights compared to the mail hold, so ingame this area does look a bit darker and unevenly lit. So it's not only easy to do, it's also accurate.

Description

And here on the port side we have the 1st and 2nd class baggage hold. An area like this could be compared to the luggage compartiment inside an aircraft. Unlike cruiseships where the travel is the destination thus not needing a baggage hold, Titanic was a Transatlantic liner solely meant to ship people and cargo from A to B, like an airplane does today. You can imagine that immigrants had a lot of stuff to carry with them to start a new life somewhere else. So any items that did not needed to be reached during voyage were stowed in here.

I tried my best to make the area look diverse, but modeling hundreds of unique suitcases would simply take too much time. If one with modeling experience thinks this doesn't look properly, please feel free to create a couple lowpoly suitcases or trunks and I'll add them to the cargo hold and give you credit for it.
If any naysayer doesn't like it, well, it is either this or an even longer development time. Pick one to complain about.
