The Maelstrom Mod introduces four new races to the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Universe. They are independent of the original races and have unique strengths and weaknesses. Maelstrom is available for Rebellion, Diplomacy, Entrenchment and Original Sins.

You wonder why the Norlamin AI bothered to send it!? I've seen the AI do clever things sometimes other times ... fail.
Well i was bombing the captial planet so maybe it was desparation?
one time when I played replicators, at the begining of a round, I thought I clicked rename, but It was self destruct :(
the explosions are a bit small though

Sorry but he (or she idk) either cant because of the games limits or is focusi g on other aspects like balancing the gameplay and designing new models.
However soase-maelstrom did say that they would look into it.
I have played a graphics mod which had mighty explosions trust me. The titan/capital blow ups are like half the size they could be.
Size is not the issue ... I have used the full number of explosions Sins allows. So I would have to sacrifice current ones for new ones ... which isn't a problem ... it gives me something to do for R9.
