Andromeda Industries created everything for the US government from firearms to highly advance missile guidance systems to biological weapons. Following the success of there inventions for the US government, Andromeda Industries received trillions of dollars to open up a new research and development group to redefine the means of physiological warfare against the enemies of the United States. By 2028, Andromeda Laboratories created a device that could teleport subjects into an alternate reality suspending subjects into their own subconscious mind. The device was nicknamed "Mad World".
Secretly executives of Andromeda Industries decided to test their creation on their own people, people of lesser importance to the company. One by one lower end employees began to disappear within the company. Official word from the CEO and President of Andromeda Industries stated that the company needed to make major cutbacks. People began to question the reasoning behind the ongoing statements from the CEO and President of the company. Those who questioned them soon ended up like the others.
In the coming days Mad World will be complete and the enemies of the United States are about to experience madness like no other. But before it can be tested on the battlefield, one more test subject needs to be tested; designer and creator of the Mad World device, Doctor William H. Wells, former top research and development scientist at the Black Mesa Research Facility.
"The great proof of madness is the disproportion of one's designs to one's means."

I was really looking forward to this based on the description, but then I actually played it and it was terrible. I don't see the fun in answering bible/math questions, sorry.
On the top side, the only ************* thing that was good about this entire ******* thing was the music, so I really mean it, just drown in a puddle of your own vomit when you're tripping out ontop of the bible again before you create your next mod.
You know this really makes me want to chant 'GET THE **** OUT OF HERE' under your bedroom window with a big fat burning cross.
Then there was that belligerent atheist...
(buried)
Oh for ***** sake.
Lets keep this simple and say what everyone is thinking:
I hope you die, very very soon, very very slowly.
Or even better
**** off with your biblical crap.
I'll agree that the clues weren't the best but having knowledge myself in the general subject it wasn't half bad. People may bitch and bitch about not being knowledgeable about the clues but that honestly sounds more like their problem and not the mods.
If you guys don't like thinking or even learning new things then don't play the mod. You saw the screenshots it should have given you a clue as to what you'd have to go through. If you didn't you certainly should have. And you even still tried it after that.
It was fairly original, simplistic, and had a bit of class and the music fit it well. Had a nice change in pace too although cryptically subtle. I loved the Hendrix/Dylan bit towards the end. :D Simple mod but still enjoyable.. I'd say it's a 7 on average but being a nerd I'd say 8 (luckily having some knowledge myself) And the ending.. hehe - It was wonderfully ironic.
Very Abstract. Well, in fact this mod was probably put together in half a day. The levels are all mazes, such things take only 30 minutes to make in hammer, theres almost no texturing... it suits the style but becomes boring quickly. NOT ONLY is every one of the four levels a maze, but you can walk down some paths and just start taking damage for no reason whatsoever. There is no indication of good and bad paths at all.
The story at the top of this page bears no relation at all to what you will play through, unless you're willing to interpret the levels generously to an amount i, as an active member of the creative, written and performing arts scene cannot do. Good luck!
Theres not really much else to talk about here, theres no enemies, weapons or effects, it's very different. I'm not a maze man and maybe thats my problem, but the one thing that DID **** me off is that the only thing in this mod worth giving a damn about is the music in the background, which was made by third parties and has been used here i assume without the permission of any of them, so ironically, the only thing in this mod i actually liked, was not something the author him/herself made, but something they nicked and added in.
Also people seem to be saying parts of this relate to the bible, but there was nothing in the description that said "FOR CHRISTIANS ONLY"
Very interesting. I really enjoyed the change of pace. I did the first level by trial and error (not familiar with which demon goes with which sin).
The second one I thought would be "iesus," but I got "iehova" pretty fast when I died on the "s."
The third one was the most humdrum, but still neat. I didn't make any mistakes on that one, so it was easier than the others.
The fourth one really stood out. I liked the music. It flowed with the maze, as well as the implication that you would escape soon. I did have to google it to find out it was a Jimi Hendrix/Bob Dylan song.
I think the first and last levels were the best. I think the first one needs music like the fourth one, something more ambient/atmospheric.
All in all, a very good mod. I give it an 8/10. :) I hope to see more stuff like it.
It looks like playing through a Dev map with all the Dev textures replaced with cryptic writing!
Again, the answer to all you problems is slow running bad guys and a chainsaw and a blood splatter script. and walla, your game is spiced up every thirty seconds
