The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

I use the mod since a week and ''almost'' love it(except for paper armor, X-ray bandits and killing recoil).
But one thing really get on my nerve: the blur. The whole damn screen is full of blurriness like if he was myopic to death. I showed a picture of the game to a extremelly myopic friend and even whit/without glasses it was the same. I tried messing up in the settings and ini files but no luck so far. Any idea?

I too would like an answer. Currently this is how the game looks like at everything maxed out:

The screenshots kinda make it look normal, but when playing the game you can really notice the blurriness.

For now I've lowered the brightness and upped the contrast, makes it darker and less noticeable.

EDIT: The forum squashed my pictures. They're at 1680x1050 actually.

I think this is part of the reworked HDR and the way the Depth of Field works. I'd say you cannot remove the blurriness unless you stay on a certain Time of Day like, 12pm so the sun is high in the sky, no clouds, and High visibility xD.

I kinda like it, in a way it is close to real life, depending on one's vision. I've never been to such an environment similar to the game. SO I wouldn't have a clue, really lol.
