The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

Hi,

i have installed Shadow of Chernobyl now and i want to play it with lurk. Do i have to install lurk 1.05 full + 1.0552 + 1.1 or only the last one and how exactly am i going to do this.

i tried already the last two days and i didnt get quite the good results^^

can anyone help me please?

Have a clean install of STALKER 1.0005, then only install version 1.1 of LURK. That's it.

If you want you can get the patch below, but it is optional.

Download Patch #1 for 1.1 from - Mediafire.com
I haven't played this mod for a while there should be two options in Patch #1 archive (extreme/optimised), select one and paste the files inside /gamedata directory, making sure that the folder/file structure is correct.

ok i did that, but even with extreme settings it looks really crappy. i now tried with only 1.05. here it looks nicer, i have a sleeping bag and stuff. but now i dont have a minimap...

Minimap was removed from final release I think (I never played lurk with it), although you may want to ask one of the guys from the team about that.

1.1 graphics seemed very bland to some people, I didnt mind it but maybe your not into how it looks. I suggest playing around with Brightness and Contrast settings and also playing with your Graphics Card control panels.
