The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

I've lowered the switch distance to see what was going on and they keep popping up above the camp fire and landing on it getting themselves killed all too quickly. It's happening at the garbage scrapyard campsite and factory camp site where wolf's scouts often fight it out.... accept there it's the bandits that pop above the fire.

I've tried many things to fix this. and can't seem to make stalkers immune to its damage or turn its damage off.

I'll take any suggestions even obvious ones as I may of skimmed over something.

"There is no bug in campfire just NPC's are dying becouse burn/fire damage ... just go to immunities.ltx and set every burn_immunity = 0.0 ... They will not die no more becouse campfires ..." ~ some GSC post.

I think thats the problem. This mod didn't alter the immunities.ltx so it stuck with the default which leaves NPC's vulnerable to this issue.
Though I'm not going to put it all at 0.0 initially, I'll been giving them high enough tolerance that they don't die immediately and give them enough time to get off the campfires. I'll see how that plays out first.
I just don't like that they pop up above the campfires to begin with.
