Well since in 1935 you could only use flashlight if you had "torch" in your inventory, so i hope lost alpha will have this feature too :)

but is it easy to get a torch ?
because I m always playing with flashlight. I love to have this extra light near me or I feel completely blind (particularly in the interior ...)
you will need to buy one, or ... find it at dead stalkers :)
I know I dont have to give you orders but :
try to make the price high when you buy item and/or the price low when you sell item because having too much ammo or best weapon kill the survival feeling and make you "secured" too early ...
(oh, also, make the majority of the weapon dropped by STALKER a bit more "used" so you really have to buy one if you want a 100% new one)
at the end, it is a question of balance ...

Maybe PDA's marker and locating signals and mechanisms went offline when he went to underground?
