it can be set in options as in vanilla game. all levels have more dense grass by default, its not dll hack, its compile settings. its enough to lower the settings once, it will remember for the other maps too :)

nope. otherwise it crashes all the time. :) this is soc engine... i cant even enter swamp without crash in dx9 mode now. i will need to find out something for dx9, a special weather for the level, or anything.
release is unknown, as stated in the header of this page (TBD - to be decided). the mod is for static lightning mode, we want to bring back the old feelings, and dx9 is not for stalker... but if you cant live without fdl, then you can play in fdl mode too, we didnt restrict it, however we wont tweak it, since the aim of our game is not graphics pimp. it already looks nice in static lightning mode :) if you check our screens, you might see some fdl screenshots too, you can decide if its ok for you, or not. if not, then you will need to add some shader mod manually :)

OMG grass density will for sure "kill fps" on older PC's - can you put in a mod installer "standard GSC grass density" value as an option?
You can just tweak the density with the in-game slider.

Yea and how do you wanna do that? because Im trying to fugure it out olmoat 3 years ...how to make grass as dense as in here and/or build 1935
we compile the grass wth such density, thats why. no dll hack or anything here, since its not needed.
And remember that using Static Lighting improves performance a ton if you use that ;)
This is pretty bad-***. I can not wait to for this to be released. But I would rather wait longer and have a non-buggy experience then have it rushed.

Well, if DX8 mode is fine, then that's perfect for me! Despite me having a monster PC running LURK with full graphics and high res.
Graphics don't matter, people still find tetris and pacman fun :D
