This is whats very atmospheric in STALKER imo... are houses surrounded by pinetrees and the house is made on a mountain wall and it has a large field too
Only that vision distance, or farplane. I had feeling that it is somehow boosted =) so bigger chunk of your huge map is vissible at once and that maight be one of reasons, why Xray engine gets overkilled in dx9 mode =D
Wow. That's all I got to say about that...
Hope it's not the beginning of a blowout, but an actual weather setting. Looks great!

Very nice sky indeed. Thanks!
how did you tweak that vission distance ? is that weather settings or hacked dll ? Or somwhow map settings?
what do you mean on "vision distance"? if you mean farplane, then its the same as in vanilla stalker @ around 300-350 meters :)
if you mean the FOV, well we reactivated in dll, so users can change fov in console, if they want to.
Oh no not FOV =)

How about port whole LA to cry-engine2 ? =D

Static lighting never looked so good :) must have been alot of tweaking here and there.
I can't wait to see it with gloomy, stormy and rainy weather.
I think rainy weather on static lighting in Lost Alpha will be looked amazing. Just like other weather. Dez0wave will make our dream.
Hmm... i just noticed. This gives me a little bit of the feeling of Dantooine in KOTOR :) The color tone, the objects, the grass. Nostalgia!
Waiting... waiting... waiting... This mod will be great :-)
