some screens i found digging the screenshots folder in LA. they were made during summer, so hud is not the same on every screen, it changed a lot during the developent. currently (and i think it will be the final version) we have the health & stamina bars on the hud.

Dez, I can't help but ask, but what ARE you actually working on at the moment besides hud tweaking? From the looks of every single screenshot and video, it pretty much looks finished in terms of map development, AI, and things of that nature. Even if the story and last minute tweaks aren't finished yet, just release it already. What exatly is holding back a release date, let alone the release of the mod itself?
we don't want to release LA as an "old stalker build" without normal working storyline, and tasks. that would be boring, and since its our work, we don't need anyone to finish it instead of us.... you know, our vision, our dream...

Not really going into details about the mod itself, but telling us your thoughts on the mods and letting us know who is working on it currently? I'd like to find out more about the team and the people behind this.

Heck yes. If I want a half-finished jumble of maps with random crap thrown in, I have Build 1935.

why should they afraid? theyre supporting us, plus without their work, we couldnt have this wonderful game :)
Ummm... because they plan to release Stalker follow-up and to be honest - I'm waiting for Lost Alpha rather than Stalker 2? So when they'll release the game I guess I'd be playing LA. But I think it works the both ways - they inspire you, you inspire them. My view may be somewhat twisted but I can see some similarities in CoP and Priboi Story (the main character, the quests)... and Priboi was released earlier than CoP. Seeing your love and passion put in this project I think you should be hired by GSC to work on Stalker 2.
