Ye, it uses 5.56x45 NATO ammo (as Enfield L-85) but does 2 times more damage. I hope that's not about LA :P
It's one of north levels, so no wonder there is gun like that. On LA's screens of Garbage I saw only short AK-74s - it seems like good guns are difficult to get - like it :)
This map looks like Dark Valley to me. Still, since there's a Monolith base there, NATO guns should be available as well, imo.

I totally explored original GSC's deadmil (compile for SoC), but even after that Countyside level (which is based on Deadmil) still big a mystery. (Because original Deadmil looks like ****)
