This is what stalker is all about, travelling in forests, in vanilla you just walk on roads
couldn't agree more, there's usually never any need to go "off-road" except for artefacts and quests.
what's odd is whenever you come across a road even in real life your instant thought is too follow it! In the zone that would be a bad Idea.
All roads lead to hell, especially in Stalker!:D
No, all roads in stalker leads to level changers... or into an un-cuttable chest high fence what you cant jump over.
