YT-5100/7200 Shriek-class Bomber image - Legacy Era: Second Imperial Civil War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Our goal is to bring into focus the Legacy Era, but more specifically the Second Imperial Civil War. Play as either the tyrannical Krayt Empire, freedom-seeking Galactic Alliance Remnant or the obscure Confederation Revenant.
The 5100 model was sparsely used in the Second Galactic Civil War by the original Confederation. Slightly modified, they are being reproduced by its revived self. It is armed with 2 heavy proton torpedo launchers, 2 heavy concussion missile launchers, a quad heavy laser cannon and a plasma mortar. It is comparable to an imperial Scimitar Bomber, and is available at level 2.
The 7200 model is a modernized 5100. It is available at level three, and has firepower approaching that of a BB-2. They come at high costs because of the advanced equipment and weaponry carried. Its armament consists of a quad mass driver, 2 plasma mortars, 2 disruptor torpedo launchers, and 1 disintegration missile launcher.

the design of the shriek-class is very similiar to the design of the yt-1300, butit has the cockpit in the middle, an three engine-tubes, as you can see.. ;)
The Shriek-class bomber dates back to the second Galactic Civil War, the first two to see action were piloted By Wedge and Han. Both working for the Confederation.
They used them to end the occupation of tralus in the second Galactic Civil war
