What's new in 1.1:
This is an update providing compatibility for the newest versions 1.52 with the new Forbidden Worlds DLC. It also adds varions small bug fixes and additions.
I've removed the full mod scaled folder and reduced the archive size by creating minimods. Current minimods are the scaled version and alternate music. If you activate these minimods, make sure they are on top of "Infinite Space x.xx".
Graphical enhancements/changes :- Added new skyboxes: Horsehead Nebula and 3 others replacing vanilla skyboxes.- Added shield impact FX (created by RC-1290).- Reworked star lens flare effect.- Replaced Pirate Base with 3 different planet models.- Fixed rings chance on all Sol System planets and set to 0.000000, except for Saturn.
General Gameplay :- !! SCALED ONLY !! Decreased ship speed (Fastest setting is now Normal speed in Vanilla).- Decreased ship speed by one step.- Population across all planets has been balanced for all factions.- Fixed several string issues.- Removed: TEC, Vasari and Advent Starbases no longer deal Anti-Fighter damage. This created visual bugs, looking into it.
Vasari :- Increased Extreme Conditions population upgrade from 60% to 90% to compensate removal of Barren Planets.
Colonization :- Added specific Barren Planet colonization research for all factions.- Added specific Hydrocarbon Planet colonization research for all factions.- Changed: Gas/Ice Giants Research now reduced in tiers.- Fixed: vanilla Gas Giants are now colonizable.Level 1 and 2 bonuses :- Fixed rock planet survey, previous versions did these instantly at no cost.
Maps :- IS - Small [2P] - Sol System reworked.- IS - Huge [3P] - Helios Cluster reworked.- IS - Huge [4P] - Deluna Cluster (made by Drakangel).
Other :- Added new Quiet music (from "The Dig" soundtrack).

It took less time than expected :D anyway there could be bugs due to "rushing" it so lemme know when you encounter one :)
Hey GREAT MOD!!!! Its soo pretty!! One bug I found though. when playing the TEC, The Percheron Light Carrier research is missing from the tech tree. I turned the mod off and started a game and it was there.. but whenever the mod is running the research ability for that ship is missing..
I'm under the impression that this mod disables cruiser carriers to make the capital ship carriers more distinct. This also has the benefit of reducing late game lag since there are less strikecraft.
Correct! The capital carriers have much more strike craft to balance this out :)
Two things I've found so far, I found an ice giant planet, when I moused over it, it indicated I needed Hydrocarbon research to colonize it. Researching this did not unlock it, I then researched the Gas Giant Colonize and it allowed me to take the planet.
Also I am unable to extend a trade lane with a starbase's tradeports upgrade. Playing as TEC loyalist

I am also having issues with planets and so on as I only have the arctic, and E.C planet upgrades witch of course has no effect on the Hydrocarbon or gas giants and so on I can only really colonize carbon planets with the E.C upgrade on any of the factions.
For some reason whenever I go to download it from Gamefront it goes through the 5 second timer runs out but the download ever starts. Is there any other way I can download it not using gamefront?

will this work with other mods in the rebellion mods folder? or will i have to delete them and add this in specific order?
you dont have to delete other mods, only disable them
First would like to say this is an excellent mod planet textures look great and think i've only seen maybe half so far, but im also having troubles with colonizing gas giants and Hydrocarbon planets the tech for carbon is there as its part of the E.C upgrade, and the normal ice planet tech is there as well, but no others after that. Im just wondering if this is a bug with the mod itself or ive got something wrong on my end?..If anyone knows how to fix would be greatly appreciated.
