Homeworld2: FX - Commander is a modification project for Sierra's Homeworld2 that aims to bring to bring the game to a whole new level by including the races from Hw1 along with a ton of changes, some of these have never been seen before!

--!This is a version for MAC systems only!--
The long awaited fourth release in the v1.8x series. This version has completely redone the balance in the mod that was gone after v1.72 and adds a ton of changes compared to v1.83. In addition, a MAC version of v1.84 has been released along with the regular v1.84. For an overview of all changes included in this version please see the official English forum for the mod.
*Note: There are a few errors with this release, the most noticeable being the lack of unit names/descriptions for the Kadeshi. The development team has been alerted of this, and if they release a fix to this it will be uploaded here. If not, it will probably be fixed in the next version.
Installation:
1. Download the file
2. Open the .ZIP
3. Open the .readme file and read through the installation instructions.
4. Run the shortcut and enjoy the game.

How do i run the .EXE ? thats a PC program.
I've tried to open it with stuffit and can opener both to no avail !!!

ive waited for months for this to be made available for MAC
Pretty odd, I thought the dev team has taken this into consideration when releasing the MAC version. I'll report it to them.
Tell your so called mac "dev-team" just to make it a zip file.

Just checked on the files for the socalled "mac" version. It is windows based, and is just a repacked 1.84 with 1.84mac a the end. Sadly, i guess there wont be a MAC port of this mod ;_;
is there any mods for Mac you guys recommend that actually work? What about a map pack? I really enjoyed Homeworld 1's giant custom maps, I'm looking for something similar for HW2.
