Yeah, the Enhanced is a bit more crisp, but the Ultra creates this uncanny sort of realism when you see it in action. It's hard to capture the effect in the screenshot....

In any case, both versions will be included in the release, no worries!

I do recommend at least TRYING the Ultra... ;)

I really like the U-HQ shaders but it seems to add a lot of blur and i don't like the exes of blur. :|

Yeah, I agree that the blur is a bit excessive. The UHQ version adds a sophisticated post-processing filter that really enhances lighting, but imparts that 'haziness' as well. I think the HQ version will be more popular (and playable), but the UHQ will be worth a test drive, particulary for those with epic rigs and monitors. At very high resolutions, the blurriness becomes less of an issue.

In any case, still some fine tuning to go, clearly ;)

Appreciate the feedack...

since it (uhq blur) was already stated twice i wont say it again (the picture have the same feeling as if i am not wearing any glasses, but i am interested how it will feel in motion, not only because it really gives a bit less artificial vibe off. . . blurry but less artificial), but on the other hand, dude you did a very nice job there 'till now.

The one with it turned off has the best Gravity Gun Glow, and the textures aren't as blurry, while the one on the right has the best lighting, and the one in the middle has the best-looking textures.

Will this work for Half Life 2, Episode One, or Garry's Mod?
