The goal of Half-Life 2 : MMod is to enhance and expand gunplay, combat mechanics and the immersion factor by giving the Player more options and combat opportunities as well as refine how the Player handles his arsenal. Half-Life 2 : MMod also offers minor AI enhancements, extended abilities for combine soldiers, multiple bug fixes, enhanced visuals, VFX re-design, sound redesign and much much more, while keeping nearly every new feature in the mod totally optional.
Hopefully coming to Patch 1.2!

Yeah i'll port godrays back. CM uses them a lot and skies do look bland without them.

Post this the other day and I'll put it here too, just hoping to be heard but it does not mean that they are bound to anything, not even answer I just want to share an opinion and 7 ideas that would perfect this great project
1 - They must add secondary attacks for all weapons; Crowbar / Stunt Button (heavy attack), pistol (burst fire), revolver (quick shot) and not ironsight, with this the arsenal will feel a way complete.
2 - Add a button for QuickGrenade, sure you can select it from the weapon menu, it's a good option to make the even more better the arsenal.
3 - If you can pick up a special weapon like this, EMG (or the standart turret) already can be picked, Gauss Gun (from the jeep) already can be picked, Automatic Turret (from the airboat, should work like a auto shotgun combine) and with that will make every chapter where appear every weapons even more special but making it temporally weapons, with limited ammo only making usable on that specific chapter.
4 - Gordon gets tired fast by the Sprint, can they make Gordon a few extra energy bars? To balance it, have Gordon spend 1 energy when he jumps, just add 2 or 4 extra bars.
5 - If they could try to add First Person Body, and a body for the Vehicles could be exceptional.
6 - The animation of the draw weapon must be different because it wears out quickly, a first draw must be added being the animation it has now, and a normal draw must be added like the normal half-life 2 style, i do not know if they want to add some other animations like;

You should also add other specials animations like contagion game does;
Use (Doors / buttons)
Turn on / off (Flashlight)
Also it is lost the move animation when you move crouch
7 - The animations sprint feels too generic in almost all weapons, i have a good idea of how it should look like those animations in gordon hands to feel better with the Half-Life essence

The Sprint animations should be approached differently, in the case of the (Pistol / Revolver / SMG1 / RPG) should based on BF1 colt 1911 animation with the hand with gun on the right side of the screen and the other hand in motion sprinting.
The Sprint animation in the case of the (Ar2 / Shotgun / Crossbow) should base in the Cod MW3 Spas 12 sprint animations only, should check that's animations and see what i'm saying and you will understand it looks good.
I'm a fan, and this is a fantastic job here, and enjoy this mod and I thank you very much for creating something that would bring back a good feeling to this game.
Replying to 4: What about ABH? Sure, it will take not much hops to go to terminal velocity (3500u/s) but still, sometimes you just need to maintain it.

If this isn't already been fixed, in 1.1 with all of the settings on, it's virtually impossible to see where your rocket is when you fire it at a ship. The sky is a wee bit TOO hard to look up at.
what about adding a directional light dynamic shadows? There is CSM implementation for Source Engine in open access. Will the source code of the project be published or provided to anyone personally for modding the game or editing the mod?

Late to say this, but I have some bugs to report.
- The train in the intro becomes slightly transparent shortly after gaining control of Freeman. I have no idea what causes this (if a picture is wanted/needed, let me know)
- Sometimes when quicksaving and rarely when simply progressing thru the map (maybe when reaching autosaves), the game freezes for a short amount of time.
- At seemingly random times when switching to the AR2, it will appear to not have a pellet loaded, and this persists even after shooting it. It will only appear loaded once the last pellet is ready to fire (which also fixes the bug).
Aside from bug reporting, I've never played Cinematic Mod in my life mostly due to all the confusion I had trying to figure out how to download it, but now that I'm more informed with how to install stuff, I will certainly give this a try once compatibility is created. Nice work.
Disregard the AR2 bug. I'm fairly certain now that it's a bug I'm accidentally causing.
Not the creator, but the train bug is probably due to ambient occlusion, due to it not being designed with the source engine in mind, rendering moving objects as translucent.

you can still play the CM with the music,all you need to do is
copy all files from:
" CM2013\hl2\custom\1_CM_looseFiles\scripts\FF_soundtrack "
TO
" CM2013\hl2\custom\1_CM_looseFiles\scripts " and replace everything
done :)

Tried running Mmod with CM but i'm getting loads of big, red ERROR's as well as some other graphical issues. I followed the install instructions and for the life of me can't work out what, if anything i've done wrong!
Any advice?
Did you install Cinematic Mod itself? You have to have all the original mods installed before you can the MMod version.
Yeah, CM is installed and running fine by itself as is vanilla HL2 and Mmod. Copied over models and materials folders as well but no change. It appears to be the vegetation that is missing.
Same. Hl2 runs, CM2013 runs, MMod runs. But not CM & Mmod together. When booting HL2: MMOD (CM2013) it will just run & in the menu it even says that MMod + CM2013 is running, but it only MMmod runs. The game just looks like HL2
