Half-Life: Original War is a Half-Life 2 mod. This project is based on the RTS called Original War developed by Altar Interactive. The first version of the mod will be Multi Player based. Singleplayer will be added in later versions. The MP version will be familiar to C&C: Renegade but still it will be a little different. There will be two teams with their bases like in the C&C but the main objective will be not to destroy the opponent's base. Actually there will be no special objective (it will be more like classic team deathmatch at this point) the team will just have to get frags in specified time limit to score.

I am sorry to post this, but work on this mod is temporarily shut. We have only a small team (you are free to join us) and we currently have no time to work on this. However, I decided to release SP and MP version together, this is not such a bad news.

Had so much potential...
Its been a year. Any news? Rivival? Anything?! :( This mod look'd great, seems like a big waste. :(
Maybe scrap together what work is done, give it abit of a touch up and release an alpha of what you have got? Instead of it all just being a waste of your time and the hopes of everyone who watched?

the real one turns around about 9/10 (NOT A FULL 10/10) and then goes back to start then repeats..
yours just keeps rotating around and around, but dosent go back to start and repeat -.-
IM GUNNA BUY HL2 AND A NEW COMP JUST FOR THIS MOD !! uh and empires mod :P uh and....... ye thats it nice solar panels and tree look real OW like kinda 3d ver instead of 3d sprite :D , i hope it has kits like OW, like soldier kits etc.. :)
We are doing what we can. We have big plans, but the first release version won't have all the features implemented ;) And yes, it is FPS :)

plz have bases so there is like russian base vs american base or a russian base vs american base vs arabian etc :P
apes for each team would be funny XD ape bots lol... and turrets yay!! BF1942 supported the ability to build like in a crazy 3d RTS.. so if thats possible on HL2 add that cause that would pwn.. and have in like each building the ability to change to a mechanic in like the tank factory :D
