Regarding WFAS unofficial, I've spotted a few things I'd like to very much see in your (and all other mods)

Check what I suggested on the Csatadi thread, same goes to you:

I'd love it if you yourself would replace the vegetation you are using with the one from WFAS mod, as it's a lot less performance demanding and imo does look a bit better.

I overall love how you've done what I always in fact dreamed of having in a mod; a seamless incorporation of WFAS and deluge items.

This adds so much variety and just brilliance and realism to everything, but at the same time;

I'd like to bring your design philosophy into question and possibly heed against going the road of bloating the mod with far too many items and far too many troops.

As it is right now, you can get most types of fancy troops as mercenaries, and as I've said previously - ridiculously cheaply, too.

I could make my army consist of the heaviest, most well armored cavalry and infantry, sword and buckler men, best halberdiers and best sharpshooters by just hiring mercenaries.

Is this really cool? This makes 95% of the kingdom troops obsolete, giving you minimal reason to use them and it effectively kills that satisfaction of building an impressive, well equipped army. You are simply given better things that are just as cool.

The items so far are fine but there's for example many items from the latest version the Deluge that no troops use and that are imo pretty unecessary and unlike the previous batch - kind of don't fit with the rest of the items.

There's also out of era items like the certain new deluge uniforms that have the very late century neckties, and some other such ones, worn by the Hajduks, also an occassional early renaissance item here and there.

It's no biggie as these items are really few, but adding more would make this a problem - at least in my eyes and my humble opinion.

I'd like to suggest heavily increasing the overall cost of mercenaries and massively increasing the experience required for their upgrade, as well as the cost.

One can get a simple mercenary horseman incredibly cheaply. Anything that has a horse ought to be really expensive and of questionable cost-effectivness, imo.

What's the worst is that you can hoard mercenary cavalrymen and upgrade them to the most heavily armored troop - the armored reiters, without any effort whatsoever. And their upkeep costs 64 or less, which is absolutely nothing. An upkeep of one should be at LEAST 200, making them rightly elite and not very cost-effective, which is why they were falling out of use in this era. (And have fell out of use by 1650)

Here is what I propose;
*Moderately increase the recruiting cost of all mercenaries (and all units too)

TRIPLE the upkeep cost of all mercenaries.

*TRIPLE the amount of experience required to upgrade troops, even more so for later stages. (Austrian cuirassier and especially armored reiter, for example, IMO increase the exp. requirement for the armored cuirassier upgrade to something like 5 times, and the upgrade cost to something between 400 - 1000)

*REVERT the upkeep for companions to something small, again, as I've said previously, based on the troops starting equipment and story background. (Costly nobility, free or cheap bums and refugees.)

I find myself not playing what is otherwise an amazing mod because I find hoarding elite troops to be borderline cheating, and paying ridiculous money to my newly acquired companions really immersion breaking and nonsensical.

Invahoe, can you/did you finish up the companions?

I see you changed some of their looks but the story remains old. (for example certain new hungarian companions have the stories of previous wfas companions)

Could you revert the old companions to what they were before, and add new ones as entirely separate? (Or at the very least rewrite their stories and complaints fully.)

More companions would be great, whilst still having old ones. I also recommend lowering the upkeep for most companions to a meagre, invisible few coins, and a bit more for the companions with better skills and a better status and background (nobles, soldiers, engineers etc.)

Majority of them should IMO start as a cheap soldier with really cheap gear, allowing you the chance to nurture them and hone their skills, equip them and late game end up with soldiers/heroes better than the regular troops and free of cost - that is essentially the gameplay purpose of companions.

the graphic part has some weird textures of bushes and trees, I always change the flora, the terrain borders, the blood particle system, putting better skyboxes and map textures for a more enjoyable gaming; I use too the Graphic Enhancer for warband post-it in this media, and currently I have obtained satisfactory results in that.
This really enriches The Realism Mod. Just is a suggestion. :)
