Pls hd version for zombie runner!
This isn't usable in the Steam version of Half-Life (the menu doesn't work), and I had a clint.dll error in Xash that required me to delete that file before the thing would work.
Once I got it up and running though... yeah, this is basically what it says on the tin. A harder version of Half-Life, with some new sound effects, higher resolution textures and HD models (but only for the human characters and weapons, not alien enemies, which is a weird omission).
Version 2 includes zombies that are WAY faster now (both in movement and attack speed), and headcrabs that are also quicker on the draw.
If you're looking for a way to replay Half-Life with a bit of extra challenge, you could do worse than this... but frankly, it's not got much of a point beyond that.
EDIT: And for the love of Zeus, PICK A BETTER MAP TO SHOW OFF IN A VIDEO! The test chamber is something everyone's familiar with, and doesn't show us anything new... other than that you're playing the mobile version, for some utterly baffling reason.
How about showing the first time you encounter a zombie (map c1a1), to show off their increased speed and how they can wreck the Barney?
I'm not sure if that bare bones, broken English summary is any descriptive of what anyone's to expect from this.
At a glance, this appears to be little more than a model/sound pack.
Downloading it and poking around... that is pretty much what it is. There also appear to be a few altered values giving enemies more health and making them more dangerous, but yeah, that appears to be it.
Also, if you're going to make a video showing off the new features, try using a better map. Like, one with combat? Y'know, as opposed to one where you constantly fail trying to jump down the slanted lift.
