Life’s End is a Half-Life 1 mod I released in 2005. I’ve made this page for it now because some one else tried to take credit for my creation, and I want it clear that I am the guy behind it. Thanks to all those who stood up for me! Life’s End was my first release and quite a learning experience. It looks a little crude, and I’ve improved a hundredfold since then, but I’m still immensely proud of it ;-) In Life’s End you play as Luther Johnson, late to work on what will be the worst day of your life - because Luther works at Black Mesa. And it’s the day Gordon Freeman’s experiment goes wrong… You’ll visit new and familiar areas of Black Mesa, and go far beyond.

This mod is unique
All the dialog use the subtitles
This was a great mod and what sets this mod apart from most others, is that it was FUN. Most mods are ridiculously difficult, contain "puzzles" that only make sense to the mod creator, have little to no ammo or health, and contain way too many enemies which makes the end result annoying and a waste of time. The hallucination sequences were the best and it was an enjoyable trip through a well-designed set of maps. The inclusion of unique decor like the miniature USS Enterprise ships and CD trays that pop open when you click on desktop PCs, really added to the environment. The only real issue I found, was an apparent missing key to the second padlocked gate.
I think the one you mention is in the toilets with the Bullsquid. You have to break the crates and crawl through the air ducts to get in.
Great mod 15/10 :D
