A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
As the Earth's only natural satellite, Luna (or The Moon), was a natural choice for colonization and permanent settlement. Luna is home to a large human population and the renowned Luna OCS Academy.
This will be yet another custom planet type for building custom maps in Sins of the Prophets. What kind of benefits/traits do you think she should have? (This is an in-game shot, btw.)

It should have increased resources of some type. In real life, the moon has an abundance of some isotope of either hydrogen or helium that is supposed to be useful for fusion.
Maybe some sort of buff to Helium extraction since it would have been the first industrial mining base for humanity to set up.
Maybe a boost to ship anti-matter in the grav well? Great place to stop and refill after dumping everything into abilities.
Maybe with the Academy there, there should be a bonus to ship experience gain or new ships start at better experience level.
I thought there were cities on Luna's surface in the Haloverse?
There is. You can't really see cities from space on any planet. There will be night lights.
Possible Abilities for Luna
OCS Lunar Academy: Boosts antimatter regeneration rates and all capital ships built there have a starting level of 2 instead of one.
Skyhook Defenses: Luna Can have an extra 10 tactical build slots
IJP (Interstellar Jump Point): Trade income increased by 3, extra logistical slot.
"OCS Lunar Academy" - I think you forgot about additional ship slots for officers and enlisted crew. Yes, I mean ship cap expansion.
