A Halo mod for the critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, that aims to capture the fast paced intensity of the Halo series.
We have some new concept work for a Covenant weapons platform that will eventually be showing up. Though it has a defined use, we'll be leaving you guys to speculate on what it is and what it can do for a while.
Fire plasma torpedoes, and launch strike craft/ or a planetary attack platform, or a covi super weapon?
i assumed it was split bilaterally. w/ out such geometry a plasma turret is less likely. its would be more reminiscent of a hanger. i would do the split!!!! remember the anti infantry plasma turrets from halo combat evolved?
Supper weapon?

I think this could be a version/predecessor of a much more unique turret. Either this one fires simple magnetically-guided plasma torpedoes, like a standard Covenant warship, or could fire something much more different, like an Energy Projector, Pulse Laser or possibly reverse-engineered human equipment (magnetically-guided MAC rounds, maybe)?

Actually, the unyielding herophant (uneven elephant) is probably as it was a repair/ refit station
interesting.
I'm going to guess either Unyielding Hierophant or the Sovenants anti-structure ship, kinda like the Ogrov. A weapons platform doesn't HAVE to be stationary.

I'm pleased that the mod team is educated in halo, even the small details count and it seems like their nailing them. Much better than some guy who thinks he knows halo and tries to throw something together.

concept looks OK, although without a model, i cant really say that much about it.
Can't wait to see a frontal view of this.(maybe in 3D?)
