Description
Sometimes the scale of what we're able to do in Sins of a Solar Empire impresses me all over again when I see it. Converting the wormholes to Forerunner portals is one of my favorite additions that doesn't involve ships.

What it is?
A Forerunner portal projector, similar to the Ark portal on Earth. The Forerunner built them to instantaneously transport themselves across the vastness of our galaxy.
In SotP anyway. Lore-wise they have the "interstellar tether" thingies that are, in my opinion, very poorly explained.
