The completed model for the Super-MAC Defense Platform, only thing it needs now is some love from Zero and she'll be good to go.

Holy mother of our lord in heaven this is beautiful, we finally get to see the coveted SMAC platform, seriously this is beautiful, beyond impressive.
I really wouldn't know how to describe it if it wasn't for the fact that the hospital gave me some sleeping medication that's just sped up my brain about ten-twenty fold (which actually feels horrible by the way).
How I would describe is the single most incredible peice of work I have ever seen.

I've always had a particularly vivid one:
The SMAC is a Mexican apple thief. I run the cider house. I catch it hiding behind the stone mill. I manage to chase it into the tasting room. We're all alone and the timid Orbital Defense Station doesn't speak a word of English, but it teaches me more about hard cider than I ever learned from my fermenting exams and our passion is so loud that they can hear it all the way in the distillery.
Your passion also just so happened to have sunk my battleship.

It's looking great Didact but I would recommend making the barrel longer as at the moment it looks very squished. Other then that it looks great maybe a bit bulky but still great.
You do realise that the barrel is the length of that tower right?

Yeah I meant the tower/barrel, I think that it needs to be longer. It is stated in the Fall of Reach book that the conductive coils that make up the mac barrel/tower are the length of a cruiser, at the moment it doesn't look that long.
It's 1125 meters long that's longer than a Halcyon.....
The angle probably just makes it look shorter.
Could be the angle, just doesn't look that tall. Otherwise great model.
The Paris-class Frigate is just a little bit shorter than half a Halcyon. That should give you a sense of scale.

It's not replacing anchor 12 it's merely built built by the gantry but I imagine that this is the most impressive gun ever
You need to build a power generator on anchor 12 before you can deploy the SMAC, which will also be built by Anchor 12.
So can frigates dock with the thing?
Frigates will be able to dock with the.station for cinematic effect but otherwise won't serve any realpurpose.
Maybe fit repairs ?
Well ships repair automatically when docked, so this was already planned. :P
