It's been a month since the last update and I feel real bad about that guys. Usually it doesn't take this long, but I've been fairly busy with other stuff (car restoration and work). Narwhal is almost done as of now, but I thought I'd show off the Marathon and Talos up close, as with their optimized textures (not much has changed, but if you can spot the differences, good on you).

Maybe it's just the angle, but the Talos just doesn't really sell to me.

Really? It's my favourite ship that we've done.
I may not be one of the regulars around here but i have to agree with Unikraken. in terms of the texture, i bow to the artist. physically i feel like its missing something up front. It seems like all of the cruisers have a similar, segmented design, and the talos would be lacking the foreward section. I understand the need to not have the marathon, Talos, and Halcyon look like clones of eachother though, so i suppose this could be the exception.
The Talos looks amazing.
