Half-Life: Arena brings fast paced gameplay to Half-Life Deathmatch. Taking ideas from Quake, most namely QuakeWorld and Challenge Promode Arena, HLA tries to bring competitive gameplay to Half-Life. Movement, weapons, and various gamerules are changed, aswell are features added/removed. While the idea of the game is for hard competitive gameplay (1on1 and tdm), many arena modes are included. HLA includes a large selection of maps designed with the gameplay in mind. Some are remakes of great maps for other games that flow with the game. Half-Life: Arena isn't easy. Welcome to the Arena.
