Sandpit is a sandbox mod for Half-Life.
Features include:
- Spawn menus for monsters and models
- Automatic mounting of content from other GoldSource engine games
- Pose interface for moving the mouths of monsters
- Customisable HUD colour
- Multiplayer bot
- Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Time to Choose multiplayer gamemodes
- Partial support for entities from GoldSource engine games
- Detail textures for Half-Life, Half-Life Blue Shift and Half-Life Opposing Force maps

(geez this is the 3rd time i'm writing this because my internet keeps cutting out.)

thank you so much for making this! im soo glad this exists. i could not find a sandbox mod for half-life that was still supported! i have been using this thing for a long time, but recently i came back to the download page and found that there were 5 new versions i had missed out on. amazing game tschumann! all tho i do use mac, so i do have to bootcamp windows onto it to play this game. i came across a program that allowed building goldsource engine code into mac library's in windows, sadly i do not remember what this program was called. but still, it is amazing!

btw tschumann, if you send me the source code, i will happily port it to mac, build and debug it for you. i do know so much more about gldsrc since last time i messaged you about this (i was 9 yrs old then. now im 12. if you cant trust a 12yr old with programming. i will prove i have a lot of knowledge about this. if not, then i respect what you think).

Xenthio thanks for the support (things did go quiet there for a few years).
I'm currently working on updating Sandpit to work on Linux - I'll see how that goes and ideally get a Mac version from there but that's not a short-term thing.

Xenthio it is closed source but I've been open-sourcing the basic functionality of Sandpit's features through Github.com (the next version is based off this repository).

sirpootistheking I haven't tried it, but it mostly should be. Note that the Blue Shift maps are a different format and will need to be converted to be playable in Sandpit though.

Yeah this is something I definitely want to do. Hopefully in the next major version but that's a little way off yet.

can you add a axis and allies option for the npcs menu so when you before spawn them you click in the option to be axis(enemies) or allies(friendly.like gomod or something similar? sorry for my bad english

Do you mean the ability to change whether a monster is friendly or an enemy?
