Sandpit is a sandbox mod for Half-Life.
Features include:
- Customisable HUD colour
- Ability to add glowshells to spawned models
- Monster spawn menu
- Model spawn menu
- Tool menu
- Multiplayer bot
- Deathmatch, King of the Hill and Time to Choose multiplayer gamemodes
- Support for a few entities from 1st party GoldSource engine games (except 007 Nightfire)
- Detail textures for Half-Life deathmatch maps

It crashes whenever I start an Online/Single-player game - claiming it ''Can't finish compiling the engine''.
I'm using the Won2 version btw.
I'm not sure what the problem is, but it might be that Sandpit is going over the engine's precache limit (it was increased for Steam).
Won mostly can't handle other hl mods anymore, that's why I own WON and Steam. But it's pretty easy using WON though. In WON vesion it's basically 3 clicks away in accessing mods.

Main change is that the code has been updated to compile with the latest version of Visual Studio, but there's a few other miscellaneous things as well.

Hi tschumann, thanks for the mod, how much cost add some new models ?
Like opposing force human grunts, the medic and torch ? It would be very nice.
If it cant be, do you know how to spawn opposing force grunt ( ally ) Without fight against torch and medic for example. And if the grunt can take more weapons like the shotgun ?
I have installed ent_mod and you can do that, but it crashes
when you change of map and it's not possible to spawn models that aren't in the map. Thanks for your work ! I enjoy a lot !

I'm planning on adding things like the Opposing Force grunts in a future release.
The grunts can already use the shotgun, but there's no way that I know to spawn them with the shotgun.
The reason why you can't spawn extra models is because I programmed the model entity to only have a certain amount of preselected models to choose from. I'm planning on changing it so that you can spawn any model.

how do i use weapons and maps of opposing force?
If you've extracted the Opposing Force data into your sandpit folder you can choose any Opposing Force map. Some of the Opposing Force weapons will show up in the maps.
If you enable Opposing Force in the Create Server dialogue you can give yourself Opposing Force weapons.
how do i add glow shells?
In singleplayer change the glow_red, glow_green and glow_blue cvars.
