Half-Life 2: Wars is a real time strategy (RTS) modification set in the Half-Life universe. Although development is in its early stages, much has already been implemented (be sure to check our downloads section for the current release). Currently there is only singleplayer, but multiplayer is planned. There is thorough mapping documentation available on the forum for those who wish to make custom maps, which may be included in the mod. The current release requires Half-Life 2: Episode one to play.

I am having a problem playing the game..when ever i get to the game menu the screen just stays black anyone else have this problem?

Do you need Episode 2 for this because 2 of the combine soldiers (the 2 in red) skin material is only from episode 2.
if it's a mod for half-life 2, and not Episode Two, then you do not need those materials. however, the mod cannot contain the materials either, since that'll be illegal.
is a good mod but more maps would be nice i beat sands and training and too tired to finish crashed but all in all its fun as hell even has a built in mp3 player =p

i found the first 1 a bit crap and the second level ( the first combine 1) was stupid and pointless as many other levels but it shud be easier now
