HL 2 Resistance is a single player modification using the Half Life 2 source engine, and SDK. The mod takes place after Gordon Freeman arrives at City 17. As Gordon stirs up the hive, as Barney puts it, you wake up to alarms going off then are asked to help aid rebel forces into as they make key strikes against the Combine forces. You will report to a rebel hideout for mission briefings. From there you will accept missions through this hideout, and carry them out throughout the city. You will be able to explore some of City 17 as you look for mission targets. As you complete missions, you will unlock new areas. You will be able to collect items and trade them in for ammo and armor. A new weapon set will be introduced for the rebel forces, and old HL2 weapons will still be present. Ammo for combine weapons will only be picked up from dead combine and rebel specific munitions will only be traded through the rebel hideout. Trade will be governed through the collecting of Combine arm patches....
