Seriously I don't remember this scene on blue shift.
About the screenshot, zone is empty.. very empty. Lighting is not very well and.. I don't see news props or something news.. Sorry I don't like.

It is directly after the crane puzzle room. This area is supposed to be rather empty, hence the reason we have a before screenshot :P
If you look you can see we have a bunch of custom pipe models, a forklift, cagelights, etc.
Also depends what you mean by "new". In the original there was absolutely nothing in the room. Now there are crates, barrels, pallets, a forklift and other props.
Lighting is dark, but not as dark as in the original.

Dark lighting is not the problem but here the map need dark lighting. If i say 'bad lighting' because the lighting haven't a good brilliant/color or something for me to talk 'nice lighting'.
About 'new' , I mean 'news props or news textures'. However its a wip.

I know your comment is about a year old, but I'll reply anyway.
You expect too much , I think the level looks awesome, mainly because I'm a level designer myself, and know how difficult it is to make a map that looks as perfect as it is in your fairy tale. I also don't expect much detail when it comes to art, I just expect a fair amount of props, clipping, func_details, and brushes.
Good Job, EvilGoodGuy, If I knew where to find Black Forest Cake, I would gladly offer some. :D

I think there needs to be a new model for the boxes. Or at least a new texture. It's getting kinda old seeing HL2 props.

As we stated countless times, most of hl2 props that you see on our screens are mere placeholders.
they are being gradually replaced by custom content, but there's a limit to how fast modelers and texture artists can work.

Yea and also, you have to understand that our priority is content that we have no placeholder for ;).
