The development teams left much to be desired... but no more! Featuring new units, 12-fighter squadrons, realistic speeds of projectiles, updated and more-canon build tree, and changed hardpoints. Also, cut content such as planets and some units will be added.
I know many of you are getting tired of hearing: 'beta is coming! the beta is coming!" and not getting a beta. Believe me, we aren't taking it much better- but we are just about complete. For-real.

I am breaking something I said: that there would be no more posts about the beta. But the community deserves to know.Well, we are right here:Eclipse done and added.Planets: still waiting on Wizardington to finish them.I am sure Commander165 will be happy to share some of the screenies of the skins he has painstakingy made for our benefit; both the new engine particles and decals for the fighters, once we get some minor balance tweaks done.As for the Eclipse: it only has 12 turbolaser batteries; the low number meaning to offset the superlaser. I set the laser to fire for only 4 seconds, and recharge in 60. This is so that it cannot just blow away the Executor or Viscount without a fair and epic fight first: yes, the Eclipse is buildable by the Consortium. Desilijic and black Sun will not work in the beta, but the options in skirmish and GC will be there. Don't click them if you value your sanity. As for Galactic Conquest: even in the 1.0 version, I still have not fully gotten any of the faction's ships to appear when and where they should, so rather than copy/pasting the improved but useless Galactic Conquest over the totally useless galactic Conquest, I am just going to advise you use the beta for skirmish purposes.
