Galaxy At War - Clone Wars is a total conversion mod for the Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption 2006 real-time strategy that brings us the Clone Wars galactic conflict
As some of you already understood, our mod was hacked. The account of fr0st47 was taken and used to sabotage the mod. If anyone had any messages from him in the last 10 days, please, contact me in PM, it's very important!
About the mod, I want you to know, guys, that we will continue this project even offline, even without extra help, we will!
And I'm more sad than angry about the hacking. Even if for a moment we imagine that we are that good and we deserve hacking, and I really doubt about that, after all, we are here to have fun, to do something free in our spare time. We don't and we won't make any profit of this, we just want do give something to the world. To make a mod is almost like charity, we are making it for the community. And I know all great modders in ModDB will back me up, as without them our world won't be the same. And they are the reason for me to be here. They gave me more than just a hobby, they gave me an inspiration. And I really hope that someone from our followers will be inspired by us. And so on... And if we are lucky enough, we may even help and improve someone's life, taking him here, with the wonderfull universe of Star Wars...
But anyway, thanks for you support, guys, we are nothing without you.
And I have to thank the ModDB Community Manager Aaron as his quick and adequate reaction help us contain the threat and save the mod from any harm
Sorry for my bad english and the long post. I won't show you potatos, as it's popular around internet, I have something better - in the picture you can see Phase 1 Torrent company, with some of the minor heroes and custom clones :)
They were ready few months ago, but I never showed them and I think now is the best time as once again, the famous company will arrive at the exact time they are needed and face the new challenges

Suerteto, in my business I deal with all things pc related, but especially that of virus and malware removal. I have seen first hand what sick minds are capable of who glory in the infiltration and destruction of other people's lives and labors.
You and your associates have my deepest sympathy; the work you do is amazing, and your courage is admirable. May you and your friends always triumph over you foes, and bring to completion all you put your hands to.
We are going to finish this mod no matter what some hacker tries to do.

I bet it was probally by the Republic at War team. I mean who the **** else would care to hack this random mod. They probally are seeing how much better your mod is taking place and they want to stay at the top. This is just a mostly baseless theory but I bet a little bit on it. :P Keep up the good work
I doubt this, we do not know why or who did this.
Why would you say that? Why do you think it was them? In that case it could of been any modder who thinks this is better than theirs.

Guys, please, you can't blame anyone without evidence.
His email was hacked and through it, his ModDB account. And when his account was banned, the attacker was impudent enough to a sent an email to the admins and to want a reactivation.
We haven't lost any data, as our job is secure and away from ModDB and we have made some steps to keep our work safe from harm or technical failure :)
But, anyway, thank you all for the support! It's extremely valuable to us!

I doubt it was any other "rival" mod, but I dont know how the modding community really gets with rivals :P
I think the worst thing ive seen is the possible and suspicious of someone making accounts to give other mods a bad score :(
Anyway, hope all works out :) Mod looks good and I'd love to play it! Be sure to check all your internet security, might have been someone up to financial no good!
The only question i ask is why? What's the use to sabotage a mod's moddb site? And no not the RAW fan theory.

Yes, that's the reason. And we don't know why. I really can't find logical reason. You can't find any usefull info on that page, you even can't get the mod, as there is nothing uploaded

Well, the final release, V3, will be so far from now, that we really even can't imagine what we'll do then :)
