This mod is about strategy, resource management and map control. It has the following features: - Unique weapon system that forces you to adapt to your enemy tactics. - The unique gameplay for each of 9 races. Playing the Inquisition is very different, than playing orks. - The cost and squad/support caps of all units now depend on their power so a squad of terminators will be much more expensive than the squad of tactical marines. But it may be much more effective... - Low tiers are now has extremely important, because you will need a strong economics to step into tier2 or tier3. - A lot of new models, some of those were made especially for this mod. The mod is still in beta and has some placeholders (like chaos Hellbrute or tau Riptide). Stay tuned for new patches and releases.

This fix brings a lot of balance changes a new unit (with placeholder model) and some new abilities and researches.

Whoa, lots of changes this time. I can see that necrons have suffered a huge decrease.

And about IG, i'll have to change all of my tactics, that's not really faire :)
I'm not sure to give them a psyker at T1 is a good idea, but i will see (of course it depend on the powers he has at this moment).

It is not about a psyker, it mainly about priest and commisar lord, they can lock enemy squads in melee. And it is a test change, if it is not working, I can change it back, but in this case where will be no melee unit at t1

Hi,

First of all : I LOVE YOUR MOD !

and I have a little problem =s At each patch I hope that it will be fixed but it still remains =/
here's my problem : only Tau and INquisition are able to go further than 20 in pop cap.
For the other races the researches and buildings that normally allow you to increase your pop cap can be purchased
but with no effects. So Orks can't even reach tier 2, and some races are really limited.

Can somebody help me ? =)

I used the french CD version of dawn of war soulstorm.

Did you combine the mod with any other mods, like race ones? If not, check your DXP2/Data folder. It should not have attrib folder. If it doesn't, try redownload and reinstall the mod.

you have a great mod but playing as the sm or csm u r limited to maybe 3 regular units and one or two of the terminators since they are so high. the cost is for the more atronger units is great but the squad cap sucks even though it goes to 50 for both squad and vechiles. I just want have a formidable army of marines when taking on the horde of orks and in the future the tyranids when u create that patch

The Space Marines is an elite race, so if you want bigger armies use other races like IG, orks, etc. Space Marines have to fight hordes of enemies with just a few squads. Orbital relay has only a few slots to motivate player to use transports like rhino.

Two more bugs found:
-Upgrade the big trakk with super scorcha give instead a flakk kanon
-My own troops suffer collateral damage from my lootas,not the ally though(maybe this is intended i dunno)
